Over the course of the week, the team operated across two sites: Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital and A’zaz, completing 16 scans for 15 patients, 8 prosthetic deliveries, and 2 follow-up appointments.
Sunday — The team began at Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital, completing one prosthetic delivery and one scan. They also visited the apartment under consideration for 3DP4ME’s future office in Syria, before travelling on to A’zaz.
Monday — Working in A’zaz, the team completed four prosthetic deliveries and two scans.
Tuesday — The team remained in A’zaz, completing one prosthetic delivery and two scans.
Wednesday — Returning to Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital, the team completed nine scans, including two above-knee and one bilateral below-knee case, along with one follow-up appointment.
Thursday — At Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital, the team completed two scans, two prosthetic deliveries, and one follow-up appointment.
Office development — Alongside clinical activity, the team continued groundwork on establishing a permanent 3DP4ME office in Syria, including a visit to a prospective apartment. This remains in progress.
