Tasneem Blaw

With a bright smile and even brighter hopes, 11 year old Tasneem welcomed the 3DP4ME team as they traveled to Aleppo to ensure that children like her could access life changing 3D printed prosthetic care.

Tasneem lost both of her legs below the knee when she was just three months old after a fire broke out during an airstrike. Her family made the difficult journey to Turkey, where she underwent a long course of treatment before returning home.

Today, Tasneem dreams of a different future. With her new prostheses, she hopes to walk to school independently, continue her education, and one day build a career helping others. She also looks forward to something many take for granted, the opportunity to travel and explore the world on her own two feet.

Each patient receives:

1) Evaluation
2) Custom 3D printed socket and prostheses
3) Specialized physical therapy evaluation and follow up sessions pending patient needs
4) Ongoing maintenance
5) Holistic care with in-home visits checking on patients.
