Salaheldin, 17 years old, works in land cultivation and farming, helping his family through long days in the fields. Back in 2018, while fleeing the war with Daesh and trying to reach his uncle’s home in Wadi Al-Yarmouk, he stepped on a landmine. A shepherd nearby heard the explosion and found him, helping him reach a field hospital where he received emergency care before being transferred to a hospital two days later.
Today, Salah continues working despite the challenges and looks forward to receiving his new 3D-printed prosthesis, hoping it will help him move more comfortably and continue doing the work he enjoys.
