16 year old Abdelrahman Alzoabi from Daraa lost his right leg below the knee and the sight in his left eye when he was only five years old after a landmine exploded near his home. The area where he lives remains heavily affected by landmines.
At first, Abdelrahman struggled deeply with the life-changing injury, but with the love and support of his family, he slowly regained his strength and hope. Despite the challenges he continues to face, he never gave up on his education or his future.
Receiving his 3D-printed prosthesis was a powerful milestone for Abdelrahman, giving him greater freedom to move, learn, and pursue the dreams he continues to hold onto despite everything he has endured.
