Hadeel is 15 years old and in 9th grade, with friends she enjoys spending time with at school.
In 2017, while she was at home—where she should have felt safe—everything changed. The house was hit by a mortar. Out of her eight siblings, Hadeel was the only one injured, and she lost her left leg above the knee.
She came all the way from Darra to be scanned by the 3DP4ME team for a prosthesis. Being fitted with it gave her a new sense of hope and confidence. Standing again, then taking her first steps, she began to feel stronger and more independent.
Now, Hadeel can walk more comfortably and take part in everyday activities with her friends. She still dreams of running again, but she continues to move forward with courage and determination, holding on to hope for the future.
