Special thanks to Qusai O. Malahmeh & Nadine Abu Tuhaimer our amazing consultants from menalab in Jordan! On August 28th, they did such a great job helping us to setup our new 3D printer. Also, they did a few simple test prints using the PetG material. We have other 3D printing materials be shipped from the USA/Netherlands, to create the final socket and the foam liner.

Wanted to share an overall update and thank you for your support!
We are still on track for our Step By Step pilot, but recognize that it has taken longer to get to launch given the quality and complexity of what we are offering. While we are ambitious, we are also realistic in ensuring that we deliver a high-quality pilot and importantly, healthcare for those we serve.
We are pleased to have achieved many important milestones
- Equipment
- Approvals (underway)
- Production space design
- Interviews for Jordanian technicians/prosthetics
- Successful fundraising
- Identifying post-pilot partners
- Convening in June and September
Separately, our Hearing Express advocacy efforts continue as well.
