On May 26, 2025 we drove into Syria to start a new pilot in Damascus in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
Walid Dameh, our Jordanian Prosthetist and Jason Szolomayer our Founder, traveled into Syria together.
We experienced a warm welcome from the Minister of Health handling iNGOs and the Head of Rehabilitation. The team at the MOH rehab center, we All-Stars! We felt so honored to work along side of them.
We saw three children that day and evaluated each one. Then we took a 3D scan of their residual limbs. Now we are working on production of the customs sockets and prosthetics to deliver back into Syria soon.
One family drove from 6 hours away for the opportunity to get a prostheses. We know the need exists but how can we help leverage technology to add capacity into the larger ecosystem.
